Exceptionally well organized with enough down time for adventure. Our guide Clarissa was kind, knowledgeable and adaptable considering some rough weather. Our group bonded well and everyone had a great vacation. Looking forward to our next tour

The itinerary was great wrt restaurants, wineries, and other activities. The truffle fair in Alba was very crowded and difficult to completely enjoy but we did take full advantage of all the wine tastings present. A few of the restaurants we went to that had a pre-fix menu served the same items such as flan, risotto, and meat & cheeses. Some variety between the restaurants would have been more appreciated. The cooking class was awesome but there were too many people (14) in our group which made it challenging for everyone to participate but the menu and food was great. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting an introduction to Piemonte food and wine.

We’d long hoped to take our first international trip together to celebrate our tenth anniversary, but the logistics felt overwhelming until our travel agent introduced us to Meet Piemonte and Marco’s Puglia and Matera Luxury Tour. Having both loved Italy in our younger days, we were thrilled at the chance to return, especially to a region new to us both. The trip exceeded all expectations—and all we had to do was show up! Every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between intimate local experiences and major highlights, never feeling rushed. Knowledgeable local guides brought each stop to life with insight and humor. Though initially hesitant about joining a group, we quickly appreciated the small size (just 12 people) and generous free time, which made the experience feel personal and flexible. Our fellow travelers were a delight. Accommodations were top-notch, comfortable, and ideally located for exploring on our own. Rooms in town had lovely views and balconies, and the stay at the Masseria was pure magic—a beautifully restored farmhouse compound with home-cooked meals and warm hospitality from our host, Vanessa. Transportation was equally comfortable. The spacious vans, big windows, and scenic backroad routes made every ride enjoyable. Our guide, Clarissa, kept us entertained and informed throughout, seamlessly managing logistics and sharing stories that deepened our appreciation for each destination. Clarissa deserves special praise…professional, gracious, and endlessly resourceful. When rain threatened to disrupt plans, she effortlessly adjusted schedules and logistics to keep things smooth. Her quiet competence and kindness made the trip unforgettable. Isabel & Bob California

Our trip with Tour Guide Fannie and the other travelers was most enjoyable, especially since we had never been to Italy. Some of the other tourists had been to Italy, including some who had traveled previously with Meet Piemonte. They toured with other guides, so they helped enrich our experiences while in Tuscany and augmented the information presented by our guide. The lodging at Relais Monvi was outstanding, while the Grand Sitea in Turin was very acceptable especially since the location was in very close proximity to many of the sites we visited, with and without our guide. We were able to taste many of the fine wines from this region and really enjoyed the Barolo and Barbaresco varieties. Side trips to a chocolate-making factory and cheese aging facility were also interesting along with tastings of their products. Group members all participated in making: cookies from hazelnuts and chocolate; and made pasta and flan; then enjoyed the fruits of our labor at our host's kitchen and dining area. Though most of the group were able to trudge through the woods with a truffle hunter and his dog in Monta, we were unable to participate as terrain was too muddy and steep for us to safely descend the first hill. But we enjoyed viewing the church and various shrines while waiting for our "hunting" group. Then we all enjoyed a homemade lunch at hunter's home. All dinners were very enjoyable with excellent food and wines along with conversations with our fellow tourists. The bus we rode the majrity of the time was very comfortable and was able to handle all of the luggage from 14 guests including ourselves, on the trip to Turin. Turin was very interesting, including our trip up the Mole Antonelliana with its spectacular views of the city and the Alps foothills (too cloudy to see the actual Alps that day,) The local tour guide showed us many royal palaces, churches and Roman ruins to enhance our understanding of how Turin evloeved over time.

Very well organized tour. The guides and activity hosts were very good and everyone enjoyed it. We were a group of 12 from a wine club. The boutique hotel in the countryside was very peaceful, staff were friendly and all amenities were top quality.
